ETL Administrator

About this job

The ETL Administrator is responsible for and maintains the integrity, security and availability of the ETL Tool environments. Duties include disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, and monitoring of the ETL Tool server processes. Evaluates recommends, and installs ETL Tool enhancements, patches, and new releases. Maintains positive software configuration management control over all ETL components developed for the project. Assists with the diagnosis of issues that occur with production ETL loads.

The ETL Administrator should have the following skills and experience:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline.An additional four (4) years of ETL process design and development experience on projects with similar scope may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Seven (7) years’ experience with data warehouse is required. 
  • Two (2) years development experience with Informatica PowerCenter version 8 or above.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in Informatica PowerCenter Administration version 8 or above, which includes: creation of accounts, backing up the repository, migration of mapping and workflow objects across multiple repositories/environments, applying patches and version upgrades, and performance diagnosis/improvement.
  • Three (3) years’ experience with UNIX and/or LINUX operating systems, including basic system administration.
  • Data warehousing experience in a similar role is required

Clearance Requirement: TS//SCI with Polygraph
